Introduction to Vertical Centrifuge
A vertical centrifuge is an efficient solid-liquid separation equipment, consisting of a feeding device, a separation system, a filtration bin, a discharge bin, a transmission system, a washing device, and an electrical control device.
The entire system of the vertical centrifuge cleverly applies the dual effects of centrifugal force and gravity to achieve continuous operation of the equipment, achieving high work efficiency. The slurry enters the centrifuge through the feed inlet and is subjected to centrifugal force in the separation system. The solid is intercepted by the filter screen, while the liquid passes through the screen and enters the filtration bin, where it is discharged from the mother liquor outlet. The solid moves downwards under the force of gravity and centrifugal force, and enters the lower section through the discharge bin. During the exercise, the washing system pumps in washing solution to wash the solids. All power is driven by an electric motor. During the separation process, the residence time of solids in the separation system can be controlled by adjusting the feed rate and the relative position of each part of the separation system to achieve the specified solid moisture content requirements.
